NPC to Present Research at AcademyHealth, DIA Meetings

The National Pharmaceutical Council's research will be showcased next week during presentations at two conferences: the AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting in Baltimore on June 23-25, and the Drug Information Association's 49th Annual Meeting in Boston on June 23-27.

The National Pharmaceutical Council's research will be showcased next week during presentations at two conferences: the AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting in Baltimore on June 23-25, and the Drug Information Association's 49th Annual Meeting in Boston on June 23-27.

NPC presentations include the following:

  • Dr. Daryl Pritchard, NPC's director of policy research, will present his poster, Impact of Comparative Effectiveness Research on Biomedical Innovation and Population Health (887), on Monday, June 24 at 9:45 AM-11:15 AM.
  • Research Associate Adam Lustig will present two posters: Gaps in Accountable Care Organizations’ Readiness to Optimize Medication Use (486) on Sunday, June 23 at 2:30 PM-4:00 PM; and Surveys of the Comparative Effectiveness Research Environment and the Impact on Medical Policy-Making (898) on Monday, June 24 at 9:45 AM-11:15 AM.
  • NPC Director of Health Services Research Kimberly Westrich will present Monitoring Changes in the Environment for Health Care Decision Making at the Drug Information Association's 49th Annual Meeting on Wednesday, June 26 at 8:00 am.
