Emily T. Gerston is the communications associate the National Pharmaceutical Council, assisting with digital content and other communication-related needs. She joined NPC in September 2016.
Emily began her communications career as a page designer/copy editor for The Washington Examiner in 2011 and was promoted to Web Producer in 2013 amid the Examiner’s shift to a primarily digital publication. She also worked as the Executive Assistant to the Office of the President at Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, where she coordinated activities for the Board of Directors and assisted with nonprofit operations. Prior to joining NPC, Emily worked as a communications consultant with Cambridge Global Advisors, helping provide communications and outreach assistance to security-related nonprofits and private organizations.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Education from Hamilton College and a Master of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Oklahoma.
