Maria Clemencia Pacheco, MA, joined the National Pharmaceutical Council (NPC) in 2013 as executive assistant to NPC President Dan Leonard. She also provides overall support to NPC staff members.
Prior to joining NPC, Ms. Pacheco was the executive assistant to the Motion Picture Association of America’s (MPAA) Senior Executive Vice President & Global General Counsel. Before MPAA, she served as the executive assistant to the CEO and the Board of Directors liaison at the Newspaper Association of America.
Early in her career, Ms. Pacheco worked in international relations as consultant at the Inter-American Bank and as a program manager of international agricultural negotiations at the Bolivian Department of Commerce and Agriculture in La Paz, Bolivia. She is fluent in Spanish.
Ms. Pacheco earned both her master's degree in international commerce and public policy and bachelor's degree in economics from George Mason University.
