Robert Gutnikoff is the senior manager of communications at NPC. In this role, he supports communications strategy, content development and outreach campaigns across NPC’s digital channels and platforms. He joined NPC in 2020.
Prior to joining NPC, Mr. Gutnikoff served as a communications project manager at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where he provided strategic communications and outreach expertise and managed communications campaigns and initiatives. Before the NIH, he was a communications content manager at the U.S. Pharmacopeia, where he led content creation and implemented marketing communications programs in support of USP’s mission to improve global public health. Before USP, Mr. Gutnikoff worked as a communications and media specialist at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, developing media relations campaigns, digital media and strategy, multimedia and brand storytelling about public health, scientific research and science education. Earlier in his career, he worked at the Associated Press for 15 years in Washington, New York and Moscow as a broadcast journalist, video producer and news desk manager.
Mr. Gutnikoff received his Master of Arts in communication, with concentrations in health communication and public and media relations, from Johns Hopkins University, and holds dual bachelor’s degrees in broadcast journalism and Russian studies from the University of Missouri.
