(4/23, John O’Brien, LinkedIn Post) comments “...[Mark Cuban:] They need to require that PBMs provide all claims to manufacturers and sponsors. It’s the only way to stop double dipping and it will save manufacturers about 10 pct of WAC, which CMS and sponsors can demand is shared with patients. And while they are at it, require formularies can’t be defined by PBMs. Ever. That ends the rebate scam and moves us to net pricing through distribution. Formularies should be designed to optimized wellness of a population, not pay for play like a grocery store checkout line.” Full

(4/23, University of Arizona Press Release) “...In a decade-long multi-institutional study, U of A psychologists teamed up with Radboud University in the Netherlands to develop a precision treatment approach for depression that gives patients individualized recommendations based on multiple characteristics, such as age and gender. (4/23, Canada’s Drug Agency Press Release) “In March 2025, Canada’s Drug Agency launched a funding opportunity for rare disease registries to enhance their capability and implement improvement initiatives to support decision-making in Canada related to drugs for rare diseases...To ensure resources are directed toward timely and impactful initiatives, we are convening a small, time-limited evaluation panel to review the submitted full proposals. As part of this panel, we are seeking a minimum of 2 Patient Partners with lived experience and patient-centred perspectives.
